Great Big Walk for Herts 2025
Space run activities where autistic kids can participate while feeling safe. They help them to turn their penned up ideas into real creations that they can take home to keep and treasure.

My story
I am walking 13 miles on the 27th September. Please sponsor me and raise money for children and young people in Hertfordshire. All money raised is eligible for match funding.
I went to Croxley Green in 2023 with my daughter and grandson to participate in the graffiti activities. I could see that my grandson had ideas in his head that he just couldn't connect to his motor skills to turn into a creation, but the leaders listened to his ideas, helped him communicate what he wanted and they made the creations for him under his instruction. These pictures now have pride of place in his bedroom wall, to remind him that anything is possible with the right kind of help.
He has also attended bike riding and driving courses that help him now and will continue to do so in the future.
It’s a worthwhile cause and any donations, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated, and will continue to help those trapped up in autism to escape a little now and then, and into the future
